Essential Education
OTAN is offering a self-paced Blended Learning course from Essential Education for California adult education agency teachers.

ISTE’s SkillRise Initiative
SkillRise is an ISTE initiative dedicated to helping adult learning organizations leverage educational technology to upskill workers for the careers of today and tomorrow. Free resources include a technology implementation framework, online class to help develop a sustainable technology integration plan, and a blog and podcast series.

NROC Project for Adult Education
The NROC Project (NROC) is a non-profit organization offering adult education teachers many web-based resources to encourage, motivate, and help today’s adult learner meet their educational goals. Learners have immediate, and free access to these resources, but working with the NROC Project as a member organization provides adult education agencies the necessary data to track and support learning with their students.

The CK-12 Foundation offers free, high-quality, open content through an integrated learning platform including digital textbooks, adaptive practice, interactives, concept-based learning, and much, much more.

Learn360 and Classroom Video on Demand
OTAN will help teachers at California adult education agencies create a Learn360 + CVOD account, offering access to videos, worksheets, interactives, and more that you can use with your students in your classroom or online course.

NROC Project - Resources for Learners
The NROC Project (NROC) is a non-profit organization that partners with educators to create courses and tools designed to improve how college and career readiness is approached and supported. NROC provides open and low-cost courses and tools designed to recognize every student's unique learning needs and preferences.

USA Learns
USA Learns is a free website that helps adults learn English, practice basic skills, and prepare for U.S. citizenship online. This popular website, which has been visited by nearly 14,000,000 adults around the world, utilizes thousands of multimedia elements to teach the engaging content. Learners have the opportunity to study independently or with the support of their teacher.

Learning Upgrade
Learning Upgrade enables agencies to rapidly upskill adult learners for self-reliance. Learners use an engaging smartphone-based learning program that teaches English, math, GED prep, digital literacy, and job skills. Teachers get full access to the powerful Learning Management System for tracking and monitoring student activity.

Skills for the Nursing Assistant
The Skills for the Nursing Assistant course teaches the language and academic skills to help learners successfully communicate with patients and co-workers on the job. This course is ideal for students with English skills that are High Intermediate and above, and in fact, is helpful to all learners who are preparing for a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant or other jobs in the health care field.
