Professional Development
What's Here?
OTAN provides professional development topics to adult education in the form of Presentations and Workshops, a Distance Learning Academy (DLAC), and the Technology and Distance Learning Symposium (TDLS). Adult education staff are shown or instructed how to effectively use online educational materials and implement technology into their programs or classrooms.
For Presentations and Workshops, topics can include how to build online activities, collaborating effectively with students and colleagues, creating instructional videos or Web sites, designing and sharing online resources, developing a safe social presence — almost any subject or topic related to technology in an adult education program.
