If your students are in need of a helpful tool to get organized in their daily lives, Evernote could be the answer. With a free account, they can download Evernote to their computer, which allows them to take text notes with images included, clip a Web page, grab a screenshot, save a recorded voice memo, and even organize their “notes” into searchable indexed notebooks by tagging them. Best of all, they can access their notes from any computer, Smartphone, or mobile device.
See how to make notes at Getting Started with Evernote See Web Site Example link above. See also numerous video tutorials and demos (see Teacher Tips below) on the many uses for Evernote. The “Evernote Trunk” details more applications you can use with an Evernote account, including many that you can use with an iPhone or iPad.
Evernote has many applications, but to introduce it to the students, use theExample Document: Getting Started with A ToDo List. Assign students to make a TO DO LIST for their class for the upcoming month.
