Activity Description

A brief understanding of the Day of the Dead.

Preparation

  1. Check the website to ensure it is not blocked at your site.
  2. Read through the lesson plan.
  3. Print and make copies of powerpoint if needed.
  4. Use document for questions before and/or after presentation.

You may have a lesson on holidays in different countrys.

-Ask if anyone name a holiday.

-Does anyone know "Day of the Dead"

-Let's learn about it. 

-Show powerpoint.

-Ask questions after.

This activity can be used as a group or an individual activity.

 

More Ways

You may have students :

-Make a class altar

-Draw an altar and discuss in small group for sharing

-Discuss the movie "Coco"
