Project Interactivate is mathematics courseware containing more than 29+ classroom-tested interactive activities and tools. Suggested lesson plans and discussions based on various concepts contained in the activities help support standards-based approaches to mathematics education.
Students can also use the site to learn fractions, do comparisons, create Venn Diagrams and practice other mathematics concepts. Great for the visual learner.
This activity allows students to practice solving algebraic equations using the additive inverse and multiplicative inverse properties. As the user solves the problem, the activity tracks each step, noting the property that was used and the number of steps used to solve the equation. There are three different levels of difficulty.

TED-Ed is a free educational Web site with an online library of lessons for teachers and learners. TED-Ed allows you to take any educational video and easily create a customized lesson around the video. You can then distribute the lessons, publicly or privately, and track a student's understanding of the lesson. Once you complete your lesson, TED-Ed will send you information on how to access and monitor student progress.
In this activity, learners watch a short animated video on the conservation of mass. They then take a short quiz and respond online to a class discussion. You will be able to view how many students have started the lesson, which students have engaged with the lesson, and a summary of how they performed on the multiple-choice questions attached.

The “Psych Files” provides information about human behavior and is of special interest to anyone studying psychology. In this activity, students listen to a podcast by Michael Britt titled “5 Reasons Why You’re Addicted to Your Phone and What To Do About It” in which he gives reasons drawn from psychological theories on how we learn. Students are then asked to share their thoughts about cell phone usage and what rules they would implement to help control their teenager’s use.
