Upcoming OTAN Activities – Week of 11/28

OTAN provides activities and resources to support our adult education colleagues. (All times below are PDT.)

Our office will be closed from Wednesday, November 23rd through Friday, November 25th in observance of Thanksgiving Day.


Monday, November 28th, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Follow-up Presentation for Canvas Modules and Communication (Zoom Meeting Link)
This is a follow-up presentation to a session that was held on November 16th and is open to all.

Wednesday, November 30th, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM - Canvas: Assignments
This session will provide an introduction to Canvas assignments as well as information on building assignments and creating assignment groups.

Thursday, December 1st, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Canvas Q & A for Teachers
This opportunity is being provided to all members of the California Distance Learning Cooperative (CDLC) where a Canvas Expert can be asked questions regarding generating reports, viewing teacher courses, and any other support questions you may have.

Thursday, December 1st, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Easy Projects Using PowerPoint, Excel, Slides, and Sheets
This session will explore how instructors can create easy project-based activities for use in their classroom.
