The President Elect site is a great site to help your students learn about the electoral college. The "FAQ" page would be a good place to start, as these may represent most of your students questions about the electoral college and how it works. The site is per election year so check for current election

Preparation

Visit the site, checking out the various features. Print Example Document 1, Election Information or send it to students digitally.

How-To

  1. Discuss the upcoming election, or past elections.
  2. Discuss the electoral college.
  3. Bring up the site. Type in the year. Discuss election results. Have students fill out the Example Document 1, Election Information.
