Abstract:
This is the third national study of the use of computers and the Internet by the National Telecommunication and Information Administration (NTIA). A key finding is a large and growing "digital divide" between races and economic classes. Community access centers such as schools, libraries and other public access points will play an important role. the main sections of the report are: household access; Internet access and usage, and challenges ahead.
