Abstract:
This paper examines research regarding the behaviors (teaching and learning styles) that teachers and learners exhibit in the learning exchange. Included are discussions about whether teachers teach the way they were taught or learn best, how matching learning/teaching styles effects learning outcomes, and whether teaching and learning styles can be modified. The conclusion is that proficient student-centered teachers are able to use a variety of styles so that their teaching is integrated. References are given.
