Online Formative Assessment Tools

Description

Formative assessments help students learn what they know and what they need to know. There are many different formative assessment tools available online to assist adult educators and their students to conduct different assessments needed in and out of the classroom.

During this online workshop, participants will learn how to assess students' learning before, during, and at the end of class, as well as share assessments with their students. The same tools can be used to have students create their own assessments and practice exercises for themselves or to share with their classmates.

This workshop will focus on two popular online tools: Kahoot! and Quizlet. Others may be introduced depending on time constraints.

Prerequisites: All participants must have basic computer skills and know their login information for a work or personal email address.
