Digital Citizenship for the Adult Education Classroom

Description

In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of integrating not only digital literacy (what to DO online), but also digital citizenship (how to BEHAVE online) into the adult education classroom. Learn strategies to help empower students to behave safely, participate responsibly, and think critically, no matter which technologies they are using. Topics include privacy and security, digital reputation, intellectual property, and information literacy. This training supports ISTE Standard #2: Digital Citizen.

Prerequisites: All participants must have basic computer skills and know their login information for a work or personal email address.
