Accessible Documents for Everyone

Everyone deserves access to materials created by staff, teachers, administrators, even other learners. The rules on accessibility are clear: All materials need to be accessible to anyone who has a physical disability. And with 1 out of 4 people in the United States proclaiming a disability that requires some kind of accommodation, we need to be ready!

This workshop will provide basic information and vocabulary of how to add key accessibility features to your documents and presentations. There are many tools available to check for 508 Compliance and to ensure everyone has access to the materials you create. Resources, checklists, online tools and practice files will be provided.

NOTE: This session will demonstrate 508 Compliance features using Microsoft ® products on the Windows operating  system.
