Activity Description

This is a downloadable Word document listing extension activities for the EL Civics component of ESL classes. They were created by Pam Ingram, Idaho and modified/updated by Linda Swanson of OTAN. The activities include guest speakers, field trip suggestions, and, Web sites.

Extension activities are provided for the following topics/competencies: writing and giving directions, American flag etiquette, accessing community services, civil rights, branches of government, Bill of Rights, colonies, famous Americans, political cartoons, history, and government.
