OTAN Tech Talk - Licensing and Copyright

OTAN Tech Talks

Creators deserve proper credit and attribution for the work they do. This includes video productions, classroom presentations, worksheets, workbooks or other creations compiled for learners. As works are recognized, creations should be licensed so other teachers and users know exactly how and for whom they were intended to be used.

This OTAN Tech Talk will demonstrate how to apply intellectual property licensing using Creative Commons licensing and other tools to make the process simple and fast. Sample files and resources will be provided. Second, strategies will be provided to help teacher find and determine how another creator intended their work to be used. This ensures that a teachers does not inadvertently use copyright protected works.
