TDLS 2021 - Organizing and Accessing Consortium Documents with Wakelet

TDLS

Thanks to Susan Gaer, it took one hour to learn Wakelet. What has it led to? We now house all of our curated staff development opportunities so that staff can register from events (whether through OTAN, Community Colleges, CASAS, Anti-Racist symposiums and more. It also houses our live documents where we update our backward planning documents and progress on all of our consortium strategies. Our Work Groups now have their particular strategies located in their own "pod" for easy access. Wakelet has become our primary medium for live documents. We still have our website (NSCAdultEd.com) that archives documents, makes announcements, loads flyers, and so much more. But Wakelet has been AMAZING for our in-the-trenches work. This workshop will give you a quick demo of Wakelet and go through the reasoning about why this is a great organizational tool for our Consortium. Meanwhile, you will follow along and earn Wakelet as well. Please create a free Wakelet account prior to taking the session. I'd also recommend joining one of Susan Gaer's workshops on Wakelet. She's awesome!
