TDLS 2021 - Use Google Chrome and Online Dictionaries to Teach ESL!

TDLS

Teach students digital skills with their phones, tablets or computers. For students the focus will be with using the translate and word search function on an iPhone and how to search word definitions and practice pronunciation with Chrome and online dictionaries. For the teacher we will look at how to use and demonstrate Google Chrome, Google translate, Miriam Webster's online Learners dictionary and Dictionary.com for instruction strategies. Ideas for lessons will be presented with iPhone, Padlet, Burlington English, Quizziz, Google Classroom and Google slides.
