Digital Citizenship for the Adult Education Classroom


In this session, we will discuss the importance of integrating not only digital literacy (what to DO online), but also digital citizenship (how to BEHAVE online) into the Adult Education classroom. Learn strategies to help empower students to behave safely, participate responsibly, and think critically, no matter which technologies they are using. Topics include: privacy & security, digital reputation, intellectual property, and information literacy. Supports ISTE Standard #2: Digital Citizen. Presented by Karla Frizler.
