Canva Basics

Digital Tools

Creating professional slides, flyers, and social media posts has never been easier using a design tool called Canva. The "freemium" version contains predesigned templates that can be used or edited to meet specific needs. For those ready to take the plunge, Canva also allows users to build individualized designs.

The goal of this online workshop is to come away with a basic understanding of how to design a project with Canva. The online session will cover the basics including: 1) opening up a Canva account; 2) template selection; 3) simple project design; 4) uploading content; 5) sharing a finished project.

This is an opportunity to follow along, play with Canva, ask questions, and be comfortable enough at the end to continue using Canva for design. Participants will be asked to create a simple project and share their creations during the workshop. More will be covered as time allows and there will be time for questions throughout.

Whatever you imagine, you can create with Canva!
