Continuous Improvement Plan Events
Description
The Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP)* offers agencies consolidated guidance and resources to ensure successful implementation of performance goals. By setting SMART goals within their CIP, agencies can improve student outcomes by providing related professional development to instructors and other relevant personnel; supporting implementation of staff’s new knowledge and skills; and monitoring change in teacher/staff practice and the impact on student outcomes.
These events discusses the Continuous Improvement Plan, provides information for new and returning agencies, and includes office hours where in order to assist agencies with their CIP.
Sessions are announced by OTAN and will appear on the CA Adult Education Professional Development site when registration is opened.

As of 2021, the CIP replaces Professional Development Plan, the Technology & Distance Learning Plan (TDLP), and the Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education Plan (IELCEP).
*Sessions only available during years where CIP submissions are required.
PREREQUISITES
All participants should have basic computer skills and must have a valid email address. Additional requirements may apply and will be announced.
