During the school year, OTAN offers trainings in both face-to-face and online formats on a variety of educational technology topics. These workshops fit a wide variety of skill levels and can even be customized to meet the respective needs of a program or site. All workshops are free for California adult educators and staff. To learn more about OTAN trainings, go to the About OTAN Training page on our website.

OTAN has scheduled a number of back-to-school trainings with adult schools across the state this month and next. Often, the trainings will be scheduled as in-services that are only available to staff at the schools we visit. However, some of the trainings are open to both staff at the school and any adult ed teachers in the area who are willing to travel to the site. We want to let you know about open face-to-face trainings coming up this month that you are welcome to join. These trainings (and all OTAN trainings during the year) are listed on the California Adult Education Professional Development Calendar.

If you have questions about any of these workshops or would like to schedule one of these trainings at your WIOA-funded agency, please call our office at 916-228-2580 or email us at support@otan.us

We also want to remind you about our OTAN Tech Talk coming up on Friday, August 9 from 1:00 to 2:00pm. The topic is Data + Mail Merge = MAGIC! OTAN Tech Talks are monthly, one-hour webinars that highlight a tech tool or technology-related topic. If you would like to register for this month’s Tech Talk or any future Tech Talks, please do so on the California Adult Education Professional Development Calendar.

We look forward to seeing you at the next OTAN event!
