Upcoming OTAN Activities – Week of 12/12

OTAN provides activities and resources to support our adult education colleagues. (All times below are PST)

Wednesday, December 14, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM - Canvas: Grading and Feedback
This session introduces the Canvas gradebook, its settings, how students can access their grades, and a Canvas tool called Speed Grader. Prerequisites: All registrants must have a Canvas account.

Wednesday, December 14, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM - Transitioning Moodle to Canvas (PM Session)
Migrating content from Moodle to Canvas is not a simple task. This event will show participants how to approach the task and to customize it, so it is accessible, intuitive, and functional for the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Come prepared with materials to move from Moodle to Canvas. Note afternoon time.

Thursday, December 15, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Canvas Q&A for Administrators
Adult Education Administrators and others are invited to talk directly with a Canvas Expert from Instructure to answer questions about the LMS.

Friday, December 16, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM - Transitioning Moodle to Canvas (AM Session)
