OTAN Upcoming Activities – Week of 4/11

OTAN provides activities and resources to support our adult education colleagues. (All times below are PDT.)

  • OTAN is presenting virtually at the 2022 COABE National Conference! Here is a link to our sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday – we hope to see you there!

  • On Monday, April 11 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, OTAN will host CIP Open Office Hours. CIP Open Office Meetings in April will be available online for California Adult Education agencies that want specific guidance or feedback on their 2022-23 CIP goals prior to submission. You can sign up for these Open Office Hours at the California Adult Education Training Calendar.

  • The nomination period for the 2022 Adult Education Students Succeed Program is open until Friday, April 15! OTAN invites nominations of adult education learners who are successful as a result of the education received at California adult education agencies.   • The Digital Leadership Academy application for Cohort 4 agencies is now open! Learn more about DLAC and how to apply to be a part of this professional development program:

  • Found or using a great tech tool that you'd like to share with other educators? OTAN is always looking for adult education folks to present online for us on a cool tech tool or tech-related topic. Complete this form - we'll be in touch!

  • Web "siting" of the week: PORTS Program - PORTS is the California State Parks Online Resources for Teachers and Students Program; although geared to K-12, there are lots of materials that you can adapt for use in the classroom.
