On Tuesday, March 22 at 12:00pm, OTAN and CAEP-TAP will present Canvas: Your Choice for Learner Access & Equity. A partnership called the California Distance Learning Cooperative (CDLC) is offering all adult education providers in California the opportunity to have their own instance of Canvas. This informational session will give administrators a basic understanding of what CDLC membership can provide their agency, learners, and teachers. On Friday, March 25 at 12:00pm, OTAN staff will facilitate a presentation on Dive Deep into the Continuous Improvement Plan! A panel of adult school administrators will review SMART goal creation, with an emphasis on keeping CIP goals simple, relevant, and measurable. A brief review of the CIP plan document, data collection, and Do's & Don'ts will also be covered. You can sign up for this webinar at the California Adult Education Training Calendar.

On Friday, April 1 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, OTAN will host CIP Open Office Hours. CIP Open Office Meetings will be available online for California Adult Education agencies that want specific guidance or feedback on their 2022-23 agency CIP goal prior to submission. The nomination period for the 2022 Adult Education Students Succeed Program is open until April 15! OTAN invites nominations of adult education learners who are successful as a result of the education received at California adult education agencies.
