Upcoming OTAN Activities to Support Adult Educators – Week of 12/20 and January 2022

Posted on 12/17/2021

OTAN provides resources for our adult education colleagues who are teaching and supporting their learners remotely. (All times below are PST.)

  • The deadline for the TDLS 2022 Call for Proposals has been extended through Monday, December 20! Read our news item for more information and consider submitting a proposal!

  • OTAN is open through Wednesday, December 22 and will be closed for the holidays from Thursday, December 23 through Friday, December 31.

  • On Friday, January 14 at 1:00pm, Debbie Jensen will present the January OTAN Tech Talk, The Future of Digital Education: CK-12. CK-12 FlexBooks 2.0 are interactive and reactive to the student's understanding, and they are FREE! CK-12 is focusing on adult education needs with ABE, ASE, and newly added ESL and CTE entries. CK-12 offers a smarter way to learn with adaptive practice, simulations, and more. Teachers can also easily adapt a FlexBook 2.0 and use it as they wish for their class. You can sign up for this webinar at the California Adult Education Training Calendar.
