Survey on Learning Management System Use or Consideration

Posted on 10/19/2020

Our colleagues at World Ed have been working with state partners across the country to learn more about learning managements systems (LMS) being used or considered for use by adult education programs.

As part of its Equity in e-Learning Project, World Ed is now looking to push out its LMS scan to a broader audience. World Ed is asking those of you who are either a) using an LMS or b) in the process of determining an LMS solution to complete this short Google Form survey. In addition to those who work at adult education agencies, World Ed is also asking those who work at labor/workforce agencies, immigrant-serving organizations, and other organizations who work with adults in need of accessible, mobile-friendly learning resources to complete the survey.

World Ed's short-term goal is to see if there is a best-fit solution to potentially leverage collective purchasing power and/or quick investments for critical API needs. Its longer-term goal is to clearly identify and prioritize how learner and practitioner needs are or are not being met by current LMS solutions as it works to leverage or customize a best-fit solution to be the basis of a mobile-friendly learning and career navigation platform for adult learners, specifically immigrants and refugees.

The more input World Ed can gather from the adult education field regarding critical needs not being met, the stronger the case to be made for targeting investment to address those needs. We thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to complete this survey. If you have any questions, please email us at support@otan.us or call us at 916-228-2580.
