Consider Participating in These Upcoming CAEP Events

Posted on 08/03/2020

We would like to announce two events on behalf of our colleagues at the California Adult Education Program Technical Assistance Project (CAEP TAP) - Fall Regional Network Meetings and the CAEP Summit in October.

Back by popular demand and with a purpose! The CAEP Office invites you to kick off the 2020-21 program year by participating in the Fall Regional Network Meetings. The purpose of the regional network meetings is to provide a platform where CAEP adult education practitioners can engage with one another, CAEP leadership, adult education partners, and other invited guests to share practices, ideas, and solutions addressing some important issues impacting student programming and outcomes, program policy, and data and accountability. Register to attend at the CAEP TAP Events Calendar.

To prepare for the regional network meetings, the CAEP Office, CAEP TAP, OTAN, CASAS, and WestEd are interested in identifying the topics that are of most importance to you at this time. Please use this Google Form to prioritize the main topics you are interested in discussing, and then identify up to three subtopics.

CAEP also wants to learn from you at the upcoming CAEP Summit 2020! Now, more than ever, collaboration is the key to our continued success during these unprecedented times. The CAEP Summit 2020 from October 26 to 29 is an opportunity for you to share and discuss innovative and effective promising practices, strategies, and other resources related to technology and distance learning, student support services, transition services, partnerships, equity and cultural responsiveness, data and accountability, and more.

The Proposal Submission deadline is Friday, August 28. You can submit a proposal at the CAEP website.
