Bridging the Digital Divide: CDE, OTAN, and CDT Launch New Suite of Free Digital Tools
How to Get Started
The California Department of Education - Adult Education Office and OTAN are partnering with the California Department of Technology (CDT) on the Broadband for All program to close the digital divide for all residents in California. As part of this partnership, we are excited to offer a new suite of free digital inclusion tools, training, and resources to adult education programs.
These resources will augment OTAN’s current offerings and are available through the state’s non-profit Digital Inclusion Partnerships with California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), digitalLIFT, Human-I-T, and the Northstar Digital Literacy platform. Resources include staff and volunteer training, literacy and skills platforms, and learner-facing tools.
What Your Program Can Access
- digital inclusion program management training for staff
- digital navigator training for staff and volunteers
- access to digital literacy assessment and skills training platforms
- online Artificial Intelligence training for adult learners
How to Get Started
To indicate your desire to utilize these resources for staff and to make available to your learners, please complete this short sign up form on the CDT Broadband for All website.
