September Digests and Web-Based Class Activity Are Now Available

Posted on 09/19/2018

Now that the school year has begun, OTAN is working hard to keep the field informed of the latest news and tools that you can use in the classroom and at your agency.

Each month, OTAN publishes two digests: a Teachers’ Digest and an Administrators’ Digest. The Teachers’ Digest includes announcements about OTAN online and face-to-face workshops and professional development opportunities and links to new teacher resources on the OTAN website. The Administrators’ Digest contains brief articles of interest to California adult education administrators and links to additional information. Here are the links to the September Digests:

Additionally, OTAN publishes a monthly web-based class activity, an instructional activity organized around a theme or a tech tool or tools, with ideas on how to get started and how to use in the classroom. You can also see the last ten web-based class activities posted and search the entire list of activities by program if you scroll down to the bottom of the page of the current month’s activity.

We look forward to helping you stay informed throughout the year!

OTAN activities are funded by contract CN220124 from the Adult Education Office, in the Career & College Transition Division, California Department of Education, with funds provided through Federal P.L., 105-220, Section 223. However, OTAN content does not necessarily reflect the position of that department or the U.S. Department of Education.
