Wednesday, July 30, 2-3:00 pm | Using Generative AI to Analyze Data with Anthony Burik, OTAN Coordinator. In this hands-on session, participants will learn how to use generative AI to analyze instructional and programmatic data quickly and meaningfully. You'll explore how to identify learning gaps and create custom learning activities that address the specific needs of your students – all guided by AI-powered insights.

Wednesday, July 30, 3:15-4:00 pm | Triple E Framework - Engage, Enhance, Extend with Neda Anasseri, OTAN Coordinator. In this session, explore the Triple E Framework, a practical tool to evaluate and improve tech integration by focusing on how it engages students, enhances instruction, and extends learning beyond the classroom. Participants will apply the framework to a sample lesson and learn about OTAN’s self-paced Canvas course to continue refining their own lessons.

Monday, August 4, 9-11:00 am | Generative AI in Adult Ed: Session 1 - Manage your Workflow: Benefit from Large Language Models in Adult Education with Anthony Burik, OTAN Coordinator. Discover how large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini can streamline your workflow, assist in ideation, and ultimately help you in better serving your agency’s learners.

Tuesday, August 5, 1-2:30 pm | Canvas Basics with Karin de Varennes and Miranda Currie, OTAN Project Specialists. This training is designed to help adult education teachers and staff become comfortable using Canvas for daily instruction and communication. The training includes creating a home page and developing weekly modules using Ventures textbook materials.

Wednesday, August 6, 9-11:00 am | Generative AI in Adult Ed: Session 2 - Leveraging Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools for Lesson Activities and Materials Creation in Instruction with Anthony Burik, OTAN Coordinator. This session will include a review of lesson planning and an introduction to and practice using hands-on some of the countless education-specific AI tools for a variety of purposes.

Friday, August 8, 9-10:30 am | Generative AI in Adult Ed: Session 3 - Show What You Know: Sharing and Refining Your AI-Enhanced Adult Education Content with Anthony Burik, OTAN Coordinator. In this interactive webinar, you'll have the opportunity to share how you have used or will use AI tools in your lesson planning, try out new ideas in real time, and receive constructive feedback from your peers.

Friday, August 8, 1-2:00 pm | OTAN Tech Talk August 2025: AI Powered Tutor and Teacher Tools added to CK-12’s Free Interactive Digital Resources. Finally, Success for Students AND Teachers! (OTAN Trainer TBD). CK-12 is a leader in adaptive digital resources; now they have added AI tools. Join us to see how these tools finally make it possible to reach every student 24/7 and give them the tools to succeed. Then cut YOUR prep time so you finally have the time to really focus on your students.

Saturday, August 9, 9-10:30 am | Successful Canvas Course Setup and Customization with Miranda Currie, OTAN Project Specialist. This session will guide you through setting up Modules, customizing your Home Page, and organizing content for easy navigation.
