Friday, January 10, 1-2:00 pm | OTAN Tech Talk January 2025: Collaboration Celebration! with Josh Eick, OTAN SME | In this webinar, we’ll explore how to design purposeful, real-world collaborative tasks using tools like Google Slides, Padlet, and Google Forms. Learn how to set clear goals, assign roles, and structure activities to keep students engaged and ensure equitable participation.

Tuesday, January 14, 11:30-12:30 pm | Canvas: Updating & Creating Course Content for the new Semester! With Dana Thompson, OTAN SME | Learn best practices for starting the new semester with Canvas! This session covers efficient content copying from current courses to new shells, updating existing materials and resources, and creating engaging new course content to ensure a seamless experience for you and your students.

Wednesday, January 15, 1-2:30 pm | Canvas Winter Admin Cohort: Organizing your Account with Instructure’s Clarisa Colon Green | This session is designed to demonstrate how to organize your account, create subaccounts, and enroll users. The structure threads in time for the participant to use what is being taught. It's also a session where the presenter is skilled at answering questions and assisting with any obstacles.

Mastering Canvas for School Communication for Administrators with Lynne Ruvalcaba, OTAN SME
Thursday, January 16, 9-10:30 am | Part 1: Foundations of Canvas Communications | Participants will learn to create and manage announcements for school-wide and course-specific information, utilize the Canvas inbox, and set up and moderate discussion boards.
Thursday, January 23, 9-10:30 am | Part 2: Advanced Strategies for Canvas Communication | The second session explores using the Calendar, implement basic integration with external communication platforms, customize Canvas communication features, and best practices for training staff.
