At InstructureCon 2024, Chief Product Officer, Shiren Vijiasingam introduced over 60 new product enhancements with more to come. Here are a few favorites:

AI Front-and-Center

1. AI assisted content generation with Khanmigo Teacher Tools will have free access in the Canvas LMS. With access to over 20 tools, “Khanmigo can help teachers plan lessons generate questions, draft newsletters, write letters of recommendation, prep for substitutes,” all within Canvas.
2. Discussion Summaries – With a single click, educators can now summarize long and complex discussion threads. An educator can customize the search featuring a specific thread, topic or keywords. Educators only have access to this tool.
3. Translation of Inbox messages and Discussions – Educators can leverage real-time, context sensitive translation of content areas across 100 languages. This feature plans on considering nuance, context and figures of speech that may not be literally translated.
