Web-based Class Activities on the OTAN Website

Posted on 12/13/2018

Each month, OTAN publishes information about a web-based class activity. These are articles written throughout the year by adult ed teachers in the field on how they use online resources and integrate technology into general topics in their teaching. When new articles are posted, they may include a combination of resources, instructions, and/or links to other related sites.

This fall, OTAN has published four web-based class activities on the following subjects:

  • Google’s Applied Digital Skills curriculum (September)
  • Learn360 (October)
  • Adobe Spark (November)
  • Google Classroom (December)

After the current web-based class activity, you can see the previous ten articles that have been written on a variety of tools and topics. The current and previous activities are also archived by subject area. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page for the list of subject areas.

Web-based class activities provide a very thorough introduction to tech tools that are being used in classrooms and topics that integrate technology in a variety of ways. Please spend some time exploring the many articles that have been written for ideas on how to get started using more technology with your students!
