Roadtrip Nation: How to Use it to Teach

RoadTrip Nation has been traveling across the nation for 20+ years. Throughout those years, they have had over 100K+ broadcasts on public television and have designed a process for Students and Career Seekers to empower them to “define their own road.” A teacher facilitator can use this resource anytime in their own classrooms.

What does Roadtrip Nation make?

  1. Videos and documentaries highlighting people “from all walks of life that have found fulfilling careers aligned to their interests.”
  2. Roadtrip Nation Experience is an online course that guides through an interest-based approach to careers and puts the student in conversation with someone they admire.
  3. Live and digital events empower students to talk with people in that career and empower students to take their first steps toward finding out more about that career.
  4. Roadmap book is filled with examples and insights to begin a self-discovery process.
  5. Share Your Road is a storytelling platform for sharing, discovering, and getting advice about different industries and careers.
  6. Roadtrip podcast highlights their favorite interviews and stories to hear why “its ok to feel lost, and helps you figure out where to go next.”
