Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the new buzz in Education. While the stress for our adult learners to overcome many financial obstacles, care for their families, work several jobs all while obtaining an education, are not new, the Kikori App promises to provide some SEL relief with its lessons and activities.

Free to download, this app boasts “more than 2,056 experiential SEL activities.” An educator can search “by age, energy level, skill development goal, group structure, and materials needed or not needed.” Teachers can also access the guide which helps to set up a variety of classroom SEL lessons and activities.

While many of the activities may be designed for school age students, they are also replicable for the adult learner. The activities offer a springboard for ideas for adult educators, and some will need little to no modification at all.
