Please join us for a second OTAN webinar on Monday, March 25 from 1:30 to 2:30. The topic is The Write Stuff: Writing Skills for ESL and ABE Students, presented by Francisca Wentworth from Jefferson Adult Education. Students wanting to transition into higher level college classes, get their high school equivalency certificate, or get promotions at work need good writing skills. This online course provides students with the basics. Learn how to manage this online course with your students, including how to grade their written assignments using a built in rubric. Please note that, while all are welcome to register and attend these webinars, these presentations are specifically tailored for WIOA funded adult education agencies in California.
OTAN also produces monthly Tech Talks; our next Tech Talk is scheduled for Friday, April 12 on the Excelsior Online Writing Lab. You can listen to previous OTAN Tech Talks on our YouTube channel.
