CALPRO: Integrated and Contextualized Workforce Skills Online Workshop Series
In September and October CALPRO is offering a series of online workshops on Integrated and Contextualized Workforce Skills.
These interactive workshops are delivered entirely online and are free and open to any adult educators in California who are employed by WIOA, Title II: AEFLA-funded agencies.

Session 1: Transferable Skills for the Workplace
Learn how you can prepare your learners to succeed in the workforce. Find out what employers say are essential skills for today's workforce. This session shows you how to connect transferable skills in the classroom to the workplace. Intended audience: ABE, ASE, and ESL Instructors.

ABE/ASE Session 2: Contextualized Instructional Strategies
Learn how you can integrate and contextualize your instruction in your ABE or ASE class. Find out what contextualized instruction is and how it benefits your learners to succeed in the workforce. This session offers examples of contextualizing ABE/ASE instruction easily by using workplace activities and forms.
