In this activity, students will use digital cameras (or their own cell phone or tablet cameras), individually, in pairs, or in teams, to go on a scavenger hunt to take photos representing words on lists provided to them.

Preparation

Prepare a word list for the scavenger hunt. A sample list is provided in the lesson plan. Make photocopies of the list to distribute to students.

Use a word list from recently studied vocabulary words. You can see some sample word lists here. For low beginning students use Google Images to show students pictures of the words. Have students practice the words a few times.
