With more and more of the world's content online, it is critical that students understand how to effectively search the Web to find quality sources appropriate to their task. Google has created a series of lessons to help you guide your students to use search meaningfully in their schoolwork and beyond.

Preparation

  1. After selecting the Web Site link above, scroll down the page to see the available lessons.
  2. Beginning with the first lesson "Beginner," use the detailed lesson provided to help students pick the right search terms when looking for information.
  3. In the lesson under "Resources/Materials" be sure to check the links to the videos and lesson presentations to be sure they will work in your classroom.
