If your basic math students need practice using basic math functions, then this site has Whole Number Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division in a flashcard format. It can be timed too.

Preparation

  1. Preview site and be sure you have the Java plug-in (on the student computers) you need to use the flash cards.
  2. Print Example Document 1 Math Review Worksheet

How-To

  1. Assign students weekly math drills.
  2. Demonstrate Web site for student practice.
  3. Time the drill.
  4. If students need more practice using paper, see "More Ways" below or hand out Math Review Worksheet.

Teacher Tips

Students need to know their math facts to be able to do their math. This is a fun way to help them practice.
