Use this site for basic math practice for students. The site has many options for creating math exercises:

  • Can select timing between problems
  • Can select single or multiple kinds of math problems
  • Can choose to show no new problems if the answer is wrong
  • The site will keep score and shows percentage of correct responses

The site has a metric converter, math glossary, printable empty multiplication table, and links to other math sites. Easy to navigate.

Preparation

  1. Preview Web site to decide which parameters to set for a student to practice.
  2. Print Example Document, Math facts review worksheet (above).

How-To

  1. Use this as a warm-up activity to practice/memorize math facts.
  2. Assign student to complete problems with whatever parameters they need for individual improvement. Can also hand out Math facts review worksheet (Example Document above).

Teacher Tips

  • For similar practice with printable pages, try the Math Fact Cafe (found below under "Related Resources").
  • There is some advertising at the site, so teach students what it looks like, how to avoid it and why.
