Students create a short self-introduction video using Adobe Express Video. Students practice speaking, writing, and digital literacy skills by planning, recording, and sharing information about themselves. The project provides opportunities to develop communication skills while learning to use a multimedia creation tool.

 

Preparation

Make sure you know how to use the site before demonstrating to the students.

Teacher Tips

  • Model the completed project before beginning.
  • Provide sentence frames for beginning-level learners.
  • Encourage students to practice narration before recording.
  • Allow students to use personal photos if appropriate.
  • Have headphones available for recording and playback.
  • Consider creating a class video gallery.
