Use this site to teach your students about American and religious holidays including historical and factual information as well as holiday-related activities.

Preparation

Preview the website.

How-To

  1. Select "Our Celebrations" and then "Complete List of Celebrations" from the menu on the left side of the page.
  2. Select the holiday from the list.
  3. Select and print articles and/or activities.

Teacher Tips

  • Can be used to teach cultural knowledge, support diversity, share celebrations, do research or project-based learning activities.
  • Break students into groups with multiple reading levels allowing the lower level reader the opportunity to participate in this activity.
