Activity Description

Have students use this app’s 10-question quizzes to practice and test themselves on:
  • Adjectives Word Choice
  • Adverbs Word Choice
  • Causative Verbs
  • Conditionals
  • Conjunctions
  • Nouns Word Choice
  • Prepositions
  • Pronouns Word Choice
  • Similar Words
  • Verb Tense
  • Mock Test (randomly-selected questions from each topic).

Preparation

  1. Install the app and preview the sections to decide if the activities are level-appropriate for your class.
  2. Install the app on all your classroom devices.
  3. Choose which quiz you will have students do.
  4. If students will be installing this app on their devices, plan time for that and for connecting their devices to your school's WiFi. (This may require a password.)
  5. Pre-teach the grammar point by conducting a lesson before students use the app.

How-To

  1. Download from the appropriate App store.
  2. Select Settings in the top left of the app for adjustments (sound effects, time per questions, instant feedback on answer selection, reset).
  3. Select an available topic from left panel.
  4. Select Begin the Practice.
  5. Answer the multiple-choice questions.
  6. The score will be displayed.
