In this activity, students are sent to Blendspace to watch two short videos on comma rules and take a couple of short quizzes on what they learned.

Blendspace is an instructional tool that allows you to gather web resources in one place, to assess students with built-in quizzes, and to monitor their progress. It is a one-stop organizational tool for your class! Students can access the lessons from their devices, in the classroom or school lab. Blendspace also has numerous shared lessons to browse.

The GED Reasoning Through Language Arts assessment test measures a student’s command of a foundational set of conventions of standard English that include the essential components of grammar, usage, capitalization, and punctuation. On the HiSET, students will be asked to make revision choices concerning the organization, diction and clarity, sentence structure, usage, and mechanics.
