Abstract:
This report details the results of a needs assessment of adult education in California, performed in January 2009 by WestEd for the California Department of Education, as a part of a strategic planning process. In addition to describing the met and unmet needs, the report includes a description of the CDE adult education system, including strengths and challenges, and the benefits of adult education.
