Abstract:
This report is based on two surveys and an invitational Roundtable and provides information on successful collaborations between adult education and the business community to provide basic and workforce skills to current and potential workers. Part one covers five essential elements of successful partnerships. Part two describes exemplary models. Parts three and four address federal and state policy. Part five presents principal findings and recommendations.
