Abstract:
The brochure outlines U.S. Department of Education policy on school to work transition. Included are statistical information and an outline of a plan to reach the national education goals. Step one essentials outlined are the four basic principles of high standards, staying in school, linking work and learning, and planning for employment and careers. Providing career information, offering a variety of learning options, and following up with certification and support are also essential.
