Abstract:
This is the final report in CAAL's project about certification of adult student readiness for college and work. Section one summarizes and discusses major national and selected state certification systems and recent research. Section two discusses hard questions and issues. Section three makes suggestions for overcoming problems in awareness and data collection, and proposes a varied research agenda.
