Abstract:
This report describes basic skills adult students enrolled in the program I-BEST (Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training) that simultaneously teaches basic skills and college-level professional-technical training. It follows their success in transitioning to college-level classes and the momentum they gain towards college success from this participation.
