Abstract:
This document is the proceedings of a Seminar on Family Literacy for Migrant Families held at the Wyndham City Center Hotel in Washington, D.C. on June 8-10, 2000. Presentations and discussions focused on the needs and strengths of migrant families, and on effective family literacy practices, programs, resources, and opportunities for collaboration. Expected outcomes of the seminar are state strategic plans and proposals for federal actions.
